Swiss architecture from 1975–2000 produced iconic works by architects like Mario Botta and Peter Zumthor, but much of this era’s built heritage remains underrecognized. Today, rapid renovation cycles put these buildings at risk of demolition or hasty transformation without appreciating their value. Raising awareness of their qualities can help preserve them, avoid waste of embodied energy, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
